I want to read the original if I want to read a non-Japanese book. I don't want anyone else's interpretation. But unfortunately I'm neither an English speaker nor a French speaker. I can try to understand foreign books with dictionaries but I don't think I can read between the lines.
I'm probably too nervous about whether I can understand it or not. I still enjoy the lyrics of non-Japanese songs.
But as to literary works, it would be more difficult. I'm trying to read some of Momus' works. One of them seems to be a diary in his youth. I thought it would be easier but it's not. I think the reason is that it was written in a unconventional way, I mean, it's like a daily conversation inside himself.
And I recently got to know that a diary could be a genre of literature. It's called "a journal". I thought that a journal was only meant to be scholarly.
Return to young Momus' diary, it has the number "1979". It means he wrote it in 1979 when he was 19 years old. I was born in July 1979. So I can know what he was doing at that time. It's so sweet for me! And I'm the person who eats my favorite food last. I will
be reading it little by little.

The business of English conversation school is so big in Japan now. My mother is also attending to a small one. Some people think "practice makes perfect". Others think increasing vocabulary and collocations is a highroad to success. But I think the most important thing is a strong will to speak English fluently. It's also difficult to keep it. I never believe the people saying "if you just stay there ( in US or in England etc. ) for one or two years, you can learn English easily!". I hate the people who are related to English teaching/ learning and think only about themselves. Like the students who are hanging out with their own people or the business people ( they could be Japanese or non-Japanese ) who treat foreign people ( who need work ) as minor pieces in chess.

I listened to the latest contribution on Momus Tumblr ( http://mrstsk.tumblr.com/post/156757655513 ). Of course I couldn't understand what it was but I enjoyed it so much. It seemed to be a European mystery but also sounded like a Japanese yakuza or jidaigeki film. I heard many foreign languages too. And I really enjoyed many sounds too ( for instance, i heard the sound around 47 minutes. It felt like the beginning of a rap music. ). I tried walking around listening to the story and felt as if I was in another world.
